This beautiful historic property in Suffolk was in need of some new windows, which were required to not only mimic the older versions but also significantly improve heat retention.

We had the added challenge of working in conjunction with a lime-plastering contractor who had a tight schedule and would need us to work closely not to hinder the project timeline.

By specifying slim-line double glazed units within these frames we were able to keep the proportions similar to original windows whilst also reaching a U-Value of 1.6W/m2k. The addition of traditional monkey tail handles, butt hinges and casement stays all added to the overall sympathetic replacement.
